Stretch ceilingIt is considered to be prototype of modern technology of stretch ceiling a way which builders of ancient Greece and Rome used. At that time used various fabrics which stretched on perimeter of a room in one plane with a ceiling. A fabric impregnated with limy solution and ruing up it stretched, forming an equal surface and hiding cracks and defects of a base stretch ceiling.
Modern stretch ceiling appeared in Sweden in 60th years of XX century ad won quickly popularity in the Western Europe, and than, practically all over the world, is especial in France. And Frenchmen brought to perfection manufacturing techniques of PVC, that is a film from which actually, and the stretch ceiling consists.
